Discounts for supplies, latest and greatest technology that helps the client visualize what their new blinds, flooring, kitchen cabinets, storage unit will actually look like. No measuring mistakes or headaches, no 'product' clogging up your garage. This is a fun business that utilizes and depends on strong people and planning skills.
As an owner of an interior decorating franchise you make connections, network, advertise (which is created and ready for you to upload on to your local website) and work with your clients to plan their rooms, windows, garages, etc. You hire contractors to install. All training is provided by the franchisor (as is true for every franchise), as is the website, marketing materials, connections with vendors. This is a franchise where your strongest asset is not necessarily good taste, but great people skills. Most Interior decorating business are home-based, so your time is flexible, your overhead is very low, your inventory is nil. You'll go to your client's homes or offices, work forma computer program and have some samples with you.
